Desert Diamond Industries Staff Biographies
“Scarce indeed is the man who sets himself up to accept only certain thoughts and beliefs and, firm in his faith and foundation, outwaits the world to achieve his ends. The sea and the mountain, the storm and the stars shall not persevere against such a man, and he shall move the very ends of the earth.” -- Uell Stanley Andersen
Nick is the visionary designer behind Desert Diamond Industries’ signature vacuum-brazed product line: Ductile Iron Safety Blades, Fire Rescue Safety Blades, Ductile Iron Ring Saw Blades, and Safety Blade Grinder/Cutters. A resident of Las Vegas, NV for 24 years, he began working in the construction industry, cutting concrete, demolishing buildings, and rough-framing houses, when he was 17. He has worked on some of the largest casinos in Las Vegas, NV, including City Center and Caesars Palace, and has helped build an estimated 150 homes from the ground up. Nick was also one of the top sales associates for another diamond blade company, but left and founded Desert Diamond Industries because they didn’t share his passion for client care and providing the best service and products possible. He enjoys personal development, weapons training at Front Sight Firearms Training Institute in Pahrump, NV, and training for triathlon and obstacle course racing.
“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go...” -- Dr. Seuss

Try a thing you haven’t done three times. Once, to get over the fear of doing it. Twice, to learn how to do it. And a third time, to figure out whether you like it or not.
